I am taking a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and have nearly two years of experience working in the Healthcare Sector. Besides being a team leader I also work as a carer and have practical experience working in health services and providing frontline care and assistance to vulnerable and marginal groups, including vulnerable adults with disabilities. During my time in care, l have developed substantial relevant practical experience involving providing health and home / social care services, which has provided me with extensive knowledge of the needs of service users, their families and the challenges care workers face. The experience has made me acutely aware of why it is vital to provide person-centred care that is both safe and effective.
